We want to sincerely thank you for your patience during this challenging situation. The health, safety & well-being of our guests, staff and community are most important to us. We have been working hard preparing for our reopening.

We know our guests expect the highest standards at Kevin Michael Salon and we are committed to providing that even during this challenging time. We believe the safest way to handle this is to treat everyone, including ourselves, as if we/they are positive for Covid-19.

OUR NEW NORMAL

  • Once we are given the all clear to return, the online scheduling system will be reactivated so that you may be able to check any existing appointments. If you do not have an existing  appointment you may proceed to schedule online. We will update the online scheduling to reflect ALL available times for appointments including Sunday's and Monday's.  Please know that we will be checking voicemails between appointments and will return all calls as soon as we can. It is easiest to schedule online. We are unable to double book, or squeeze in a bang trim per our new guidance.
     

  • Please look for the link to the required waiver form in your normal confirmation emails. Once you confirm that email, you must click the included link to fill out the waiver the day before your appointment; NOT THE WEEK BEFORE as this information needs to be as current as possible.
     

  • Contactless Waiver Form must be submitted by 8pm the night before your appointment or you will loose your scheduled time.    

  • Only clients receiving a service will be allowed in the salon.

  • No more than 4 people (2 Stylist + 2 Clients) will be allowed in the salon at any one time.

  • We have set up an entry station for sanitation & communication upon arrival.

  • Treating everyone, including staff, as if they could be positive for Covid-19.

  • All areas, tools, stations & equipment will be sanitized/disinfected after each clients.

  • Masks will be mandatory but not provided. Do not remove your mask during your visit.

  • It is not mandatory to wear gloves. Follow hand sanitizing procedures.

  • No sample products or testers will be available.

  • All staff have updated certification on Sanitation protocols via Barbacide ™ and OSHA.gov

  • Face/Eye protection will be worn by stylists during shampooing.

  • Temporarily suspending all complimentary services;  NO shampoo massages, No beverages. UPDATE : We are allowed to blow dry! 

  • No in-salon beverage service, no candy bowl, no snack dishes will be permitted. However, you are welcome to bring in your beverage of choice.

  • Please understand if you are getting a color retouch, you may have an up-charge for your color because of the need to use more color than usual ($25).

Rest Assured, we hope to get back to a new normal and offering many of the added value services and extras you have come to enjoy.

These protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed and will keep you informed every step of the way.

Our plan is to go beyond what is recommended. We have consulted with other, very reputable salons, who have already opened their doors, to create our own safety protocols to keep everyone safe. APPOINTMENTS

We understand that you are all eager to be rescheduled. We have had to cancel many appointments over the past months.

It is impossible for us to personally call each guest whose appointment was cancelled beginning March 16.

To be fair to all, since we are unable to open back to full capacity, we are scheduling appointments with a new and updated schedule capacity. Again, we appreciate your patience as we navigate through this new challenge.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation/No-Show Policy- We will not be penalizing for any last-minute cancellations due to being sick. However, please provide us with information as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedules accordingly. We are trying our best to get every client back in as soon as possible.

Confirming your appointment- if you do not confirm your appointment (via your email confirmation or text confirmation) and submit the waiver form 24hrs prior to your appointment time you WILL LOSE your appointment and be charged $25 or 25% of your total service cost. Please understand we have many clients waiting to get in to see us.

Kevin Michael would like to take this moment to ask that if you are not comfortable with the new guidelines, please do not schedule an appointment. We will not risk our livelihood in order to risk not hurting someones feelings or offending anyone. The answer to ease a guideline for "just you" will be a simple "no". Please don't put us in the position. We appreciate each and every client and want to service you all, as quickly and as safely as we possibly can.
