There is a saying that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life! I absolutely love what I do!

I was raised and spent most of my young life in Mobile, Alabama.  I moved to Sacramento, CA in 2000.

After working at a cosmetology school for three years, I yearned to be back in the salon environment and started building my Sacramento based clientele in 2003. In 2005, I was presented with an opportunity to open a salon in midtown Sacramento; ninety days later (October 2005) Kevin Michael Salon was born.

Since that time I have come to know and work with some very talented stylists, estheticians, and educators. I feel fortunate to have surrounded myself with a dedicated staff that agrees on the same fundamental salon skills as I do:

• Clients deserve to come to an impeccably clean, comfortable environment

• Clients receive quality services at an affordable price point.

 

Being raised in the deep south gives me a strong built-in sense of “southern hospitality”. No need to stop at Starbucks on your way in, we have fresh hot coffee, a variety of teas, cocoa, bottled water, wine & beer. Make yourself at home and leave the serious hair work to us!
